Transfer-OUT

General Information

  • My customer wants to transfer a domain name out of our management. Could you tell me how to proceed?
    The customer should ask their new registrar to submit a transfer request for the domain name. Unlike gTLDs, .jp domains do not have any authorization codes and they are not locked. As soon as we receive a transfer-out request and if there is no cause for auto-disapproval, we will send you a transfer-out confirmation email. You must take required actions to approve it within 168 hours (7 days) from the time stamp of the confirmation email.
